Tired of having the same old bland birthday party?



The Sport. Archery is a year-round sport and is enjoyed today by millions of people all over the world. When you pick up a bow to shoot your arrows, you are partaking in an ancient activity dating back at least 20 thousand years.

Technical advances in bow and arrow designs are major reasons for the sports popularity. There are many ways to enjoy archery and just about anyone can learn how to shoot, including children, seniors, and wheelchair users.

THE PARTY PROGRAM:

You and your guest will shoot 2 sessions consisting of two rounds each:

  • The First Official - Your Name Here -"Team Invitational" - two rounds
  • The First Official - Your Name Here - "Singles Championship" - two rounds

                                        

SESSION ONE - "Team Invitational"

The shooting events are setup by teams of two. Each shooter will be given 10 arrows. Each shooter will have 10 minutes to shoot all 10 arrows, per shooting end. An "end" is the number of arrows shot before scoring.

Example:   - Shot at 60 cm. (24" in.) target face, 5 color, ten ring.
                 - Scoring: 10 (bulls eye), 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1


FIRST ROUND…….. 2 ENDS OF 10 ARROWS AT 10 YARDS
SECOND ROUND…. 2 ENDS OF 10 ARROWS AT 20 YARDS

TOTAL 40 ARROWS/400 POINTS POSSIBLE

THE TEAM WITH THE HIGHEST TOTAL SCORE WINS…

SESSION TWO - "Singles Championship"

Individuals will be competing against each other. Each shooter will be given 3 arrows. Each shooter will have 3 minutes to shoot all 3 arrows, per shooting end. Points are determined by how many times a shooter can burst a balloon attached to the center of her/his shooting target.

FIRST ROUND……. 2 ENDS OF 3 ARROWS AT 15 YARDS
SECOND ROUND…. 2 ENDS OF 3 ARROWS AT 20 YARDS

TOTAL 12 ARROWS/120 POINTS POSSIBLE

THE PERSON WITH THE HIGHEST TOTAL SCORE WINS…
HAVE FUN!

Archery Range Whistle Commands

Two Blasts - "Archers to the shooting line"
One Blast - "Begin Shooting"
Three Blasts - "Walk (NOT RUN) to retrieve arrows"
Four or more Blasts - "STOP SHOOTING!"
Immediately put your arrows in your quiver.
